$16,000 – Funds graduation ceremony every other year for students in the program.
Impact: 32 students graduated with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
$5,000 – Provides a stipend for one world-class WashU instructor per class.
Impact: 142 courses taught by instructors at both PEP campuses.
$1,000 – Covers textbooks for 20 students in one in-person course.
Impact: Average student course load of 8 credits per semester.
$550 – Purchases one secure laptop approved for usage in a correctional facility.
Impact: Every student in PEP can access digital learning resources to complete their courses.
$280 – Provides six months of individualized reentry support for one alum.
Impact: 100% employment rate for PEP alumni reentering their community post-incarceration.
$100 – Buys school supplies for one student for a full academic year.
Impact: Average student GPA of 3.32.
$45 – Funds one in-person tutoring session for a PEP student with a WashU graduate student or industry professional.
Impact: 24 students appointed to the Dean’s List in Fall 2022.
