This session will provide a review of grammar concepts and punctuation rules aimed at helping students improve their writing and editing skills. It is also intended to help students interpret and take advantage of feedback from professors and tutors on their written work. The meeting will be practical: we will examine common grammatical errors, practice editing at the sentence level, and there will also be plenty of time for questions about issues students have come up against in their own writing. If possible, please bring a writing assignment that you have received feedback on

We will choose topics for the meeting based on students’ interest. If there is interest in future sessions (which would be optional), students will have the opportunity to vote on what they would like to see covered.
