Anand Chukka is a senior in Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis studying American Culture Studies and Molecular Biology/Biochemistry. As an intern with the Prison Education Project, he will be serving as a calculus tutor at the MECC.
During his time at Washington University, Anand has previously served as both the Advocacy chair and the Social Justice Coordinator for GlobeMed, a health justice non-profit, and is currently Co-President. As a Gephardt Institute Civic Scholar, he spent last summer as a medical case management intern with Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program, helping homeless folks access social services. Anand has an interest in hip-hop music, cynical TV shows, and exploring neighborhoods of St. Louis.
