Book Discussion of College in Prison with author Daniel Karpowitz and PEP Manager and political theorist Jennifer Hudson

Join us for a conversation about College in Prison: Reading in an Age of Mass Incarceration with author Daniel Karpowitz, in discussion with Jennifer Hudson.

Event co-sponsored by the Public Interest Law and Policy Speaker Series at Wash U Law.

Karpowitz and Hudson will discuss the book and the history and philosophy Wash U PEP and its sister program, the Bard Prison Initiative. Faculty, students, and friends welcome. Refreshments provided.

 

Women in the CJS through a Public Health Lens

This symposium will use a public health lens to examine the factors that drive women into the criminal justice system, and then focus on various treatment approaches to addressing these factors.
