PEP’s Lecture Series brings different authors and professors to the MECC campus each semester to discuss specific topics from their work and research.
In Spring 2019, PEP hosted a lecture by Vanderbilt Professor Rhonda Williams, to speak about the struggles for freedom in the 20th century.
In Fall 2018, PEP organized two lectures for MECC students as part of an ongoing lecture series. For one event, poet Mary Jo Bang came to read and discuss her book “A Doll For Throwing”. In November, WashU History Professor Peter Kastor discussed the play “Hamilton” and it’s value and association with American history.
